Yehoshua Fass

Yehoshua Fass is an American-born Israeli rabbi and co-founder and executive director of Nefesh B'Nefesh.

Influence and contribution

Fass co-founded Nefesh B'Nefesh in 2002 to remove practical barriers facing immigrants from North America and Britain. The organization built a coordinated model of guidance, employment support, government liaison and community integration that has accompanied more than one hundred thousand newcomers.

Legacy and significance

His work belongs in Moreshet because aliyah is shaped as much by patient logistics as by ideals. Fass helped turn a life-changing decision into a navigable process for individuals and families.
