René Samuel Cassin

René Cassin had a pivotal role in drafting the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, for which he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1968. He also helped founded UNESCO and served as a French representative at the United Nations (October 5, 1887 - February 20, 1976)
