Dame Rose Heilbron

Dame Rose Heilbron, a pioneering English lawyer, became the first woman appointed as a recorder in Britain in 1956 and later served as a Judge of the High Court's Family Division from 1974 until her retirement in 1988. (19 August 1914 – 8 December 2005)
