Assaf Rappaport is an Israeli technology entrepreneur and co-founder and chief executive of the cloud-security company Wiz.
Influence and contribution
After serving in the IDF's Unit 8200, Rappaport helped build Adallom and later led Microsoft's Israel research and development center. With three longtime partners he founded Wiz, which grew with exceptional speed by giving organizations a unified view of security risks across cloud environments.
Legacy and significance
Rappaport represents a generation that turned Israeli cyber expertise into global companies while retaining strong links to the local ecosystem. His story documents entrepreneurship, teamwork and the international reach of Israeli research and development.
