Sir Philip Joseph Hartog

Sir Philip Joseph Hartog was th first Vice Chancellor of the University of Dhaka, and served as the Academic Registrar of the University of London. He led key inquiries for the Indian Statutory Commission and was honored with a Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire (KBE) in 1930. (2 March 1864 – 27 June 1947)
