Jerome Bruner

Jerome Bruner shaped the field of cognitive psychology, particularly with his theories on perception, learning, and memory in young children. His influential work, The Process of Education (1960), helped reform educational practices by arguing that any subject could be taught at any developmental stage when presented appropriately, and he introduced the concept of "scaffolding" to enhance learning.
