The Council of Sages was an Israeli current-affairs discussion program hosted by journalist Dan Margalit and broadcast on Channel 10. It brought together commentators and public figures with contrasting political views to debate politics, public affairs and the issues shaping Israeli society. From Popolitika to The Council of Sages

The program first aired in 2006 as a one-time reunion of participants from Channel 10’s Popolitika, ahead of the elections for the Seventeenth Knesset.
