Raphael Lemkin
Raphael Lemkin coined the term "genocide" and spearheading the adoption of the Genocide Convention in 1948. He also advocated for the recognition and punishment of genocidal acts, leaving a lasting legacy in human rights law. (June 24, 1900 - August 28, 1959)
