William Fox

William Fox was a pioneering figure in the film industry, founding Fox Film Corporation in 1915, which later became Twentieth Century-Fox. He is credited with introducing organ accompaniment in silent films and creating Movietone News, the first commercially successful sound film series. ( January 1, 1879 – May 8, 1952)
