Adolph Zukor

Adolph Zukor founded Paramount Pictures and revolutionized the film industry by creating the first company to produce, distribute, and exhibit films in its own theaters. Known as the "Napoleon of motion pictures," he signed some of Hollywood's earliest stars and led Paramount through both its growth and bankruptcy, playing a pivotal role in its recovery. (January 7, 1873 – June 10, 1976)
